looking for a new job

Hi all. I'm looking for a new job. Telemarketing just isn't for me. I'd rather do something where I can put my compputer skills to work and where there's inbound calling and I don't have to call people getting I'm not interested, go to hell, and so on. I have a few places where I'm going to be applying at so wish me luck! Oh yeah I'm still working at sears until I get a new job because that will look better on my resume.

good luck. have you thought about doing customer service? I know it is still telephone based, but there is computer work/knowledge involved. Sadly you won't completely get rid of the ignorant obnoxious general public but you will be helping people with their queries instead of having to push your pfoducts down their throats.

Yes, that's exactly what I want to do and you're right, but inbound calling of angry customers is not as likely as it is when you call them.

I've always wanted to be a telephone answering person eheheh as I love the phone.

Hopefully you don't need this information now, but if you do, how about something to do with IT support.
